'98 Tigers take 3 of 4 from '07 Rays to clinch AL East

Tigers take 3 of 4 to clinch division and leave Justin waiting for the result of Chicago Cleveland.  4 close games, in game one the winning run was thrown out at the plate by Luis Gonzalez in the bottom of the ninth, the Tigers went on to win in extra innings.  In game 4 Gonzalez threw out the tying run at the plate with two in the top of the ninth.  --Tom "Crash" Davis--


Two of my three losses in the series were made in the 9th at home plate thrown out on favorable plays LOL...Tampa bay could've been division champs LOL...you said it anything can happen in action.  --Justin Ryan--

EDITOR'S NOTE:  Chicago took 3 of 4 from Cleveland, which puts CHW and TB in a tie for the two WC slots.  If either MIN or SLB sweep that series there would be a 3 way tie.
