Tony Clark had a monster day with 2 homers and 6 RBI’s as the Tigers avoided the sweep at the hands of the Bosox. Tom Brunansky had 2 homers himself as the Twins crushed the Tribe 8-1. Philly salvaged 1 game vs the Cubs and needed 11 innings to do it. Scott Rolen’s 2 our RBI double sent the fans heading toward Geno’s in a somewhat happy mood. The 1937 Reds needed 10 innings to edge the Astros 4-3. An Ival Goodman solo shot off of Capel provided the difference.
